Begin Play on your Team’s Assigned Hole and note that on your Scorecard. Men with handicap < 10 will play from Blue tees; Men with handicap > 11 will play from White tees; Women play from Red tees.
Format is a 4-person Scramble. Each person tees off, and the team uses the best shot. Each player hits again from the point of best shot, and the team again takes best shot. Continue format until the ball is holed. Note the team score on the scorecard for each hole and submit to the Pro Shop at the end of the tournament.
All players have to use one of their drives on each 9.
The following can be purchased at the Registration Table or Online before time to increase fun:
1) Mulligans – $10 each and a maximum of 2/person;
2) Licorice ropes – 2 per team @ $20 each;
3) Miracle One-Putt – $25 each and a maximum of two per team (Miracle One-Putt is used when the team hits the green and wants to use it to guarantee a one-putt on that hole. Best used on Par 5’s or if the team has a LONG putt on a particular hole)
FUN HOLES and GAMES! Mulligans are not permitted on the “Fun and Games” Holes. We have some fun games located on several holes to give you opportunities to help Kiwanis help the 5 organizations who will be the recipients of our Tournament today:
Hole #2 – Men’s Closest-to-the-Hole
Hole #5 – Chipping Contest – $10/ball or $20/3 balls. Each chip into the pool gets a ticket entered in for a Bushnell Rangefinder to be drawn at the end of play.
Hole #6 – Hit-the-Green Hole – $5 before tee shot. If your shot stays on the green, you win $10.
Hole #9 – Women’s Long Drive Hole. (Drive must be in the cut fairway)
Between Holes 9 & 10 – Putting Contest – $10/ball or $20/3 balls. Each putt sunk gets a ticket entered into a box for a new Odyssey Putter to be drawn at the end of play.
Hole #10 – Hole-in-One wins a new vehicle from Middlekauff Automotive Group
Hole #14 – Women’s Closest-to-the Hole
Hole #16 – Men’s Long Drive Hole. . (Drive must be in the cut fairway)
Pro Shop Certificates will be awarded to each member of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place teams, based on your net score, immediately after the tournament.
